I was lucky to create two different animations for the same client, keeping a mutual thread within the design through texture and color. Besides that I loved designing and animating it, I also got to take on a more directional role.

I was lucky to create two different animations for the same client, keeping a mutual thread within the design through texture and color. Besides that I loved designing and animating it, I also got to take on a more directional role.

Boxes

The first animation of the series was the more abstract of the two, using square shapes as the very basis. It starts with very simple 2d geometry, unfolding to full 3d animated skyscrapers as the story moves forward.

Hand-drawn

The other animation was to have a more personal touch, so it was decided to show this story from a character’s point-of-view. Different animation techniques were combined to achieve this; hand-drawn, 2d and 3d animation.
